A tribute to snails ans shells

I made a model of a snail which was 3 D printed. Later on I sliced it to the thickness of the material and cut out layers of wood(plywood) on a CNC machine.
I added 2 dovels inside the snail to facilitate assembly and gluing, then I generated contour along the body every 1/4 inch (thickness of material)
After that I placed the layers onto the dimensions of the material, numbered them in the order of assembly
Testing the design snail becomes a slug since antennas are to small and fall off
The cutting took about 1.30 h. and after that I had to chisel out the joints that were keeping the board together, allowing precise cutting. I left the outside edges beside and glued the inside to prevent the dowels to show.
