Shenzhen is one of the coolest places I have ever been to, full of electronics markets, casual makers, visitors with projects and hacked technologies. I especially miss the busy Huaqiangbei area, the smell of soldering, the sound of pack- taping, the lively overpacked stalls… The feeling of being in the electronics wonderland. It’s where I first disassembled a phone and got exposed to some crazy reverse engineering. Thanks to wonderful organizers I learnt few advanced soldering techniques like BGA chips re-balling at Lande Mobile Repair School. The hacker camp was an unforgettable experience.
